This staircase was designed and built to create a clean, modern feature within the home while still feeling warm and inviting. The brief was to keep everything minimal but high-end, so we combined solid oak treads with soft integrated lighting to give a subtle glow across each step. The glass balustrade was chosen to keep the space open and let light flow through, rather than blocking it with bulky materials.
A lot of care went into the detailing on this one. The floating effect of the treads, the hidden fixings, and the way the lighting is set into the structure all help give it that sharp, architectural look. It’s not just about how it looks either, everything was built to be strong, safe, and long-lasting while still keeping that sleek finish.
Overall, this project is a great example of how we blend design and practicality. It works as a statement feature in the home, but it’s also something that’s used every day, so it had to be spot on in both form and function.
